Dubai Municipality
The permits that decide whether licensed premises may actually open – food, fit-out, signage and public health.
- Food permits
- Fit-out approvals
- Signage permits
- Public health
Dubai Municipality permits, SIRA approvals, MOFA attestation, trademarks and licence renewals - the government counters, handled by people who file at them every week.
PRO work is not complicated. It is procedural, and it punishes anyone who does it occasionally. A form filed on the wrong channel, a document attested in the wrong order, an expiry noticed a week late – each one costs time, and some cost a fine.
Royal Vision files at these counters weekly. That is the whole value: not access, but repetition.
What we handle
The permits that decide whether licensed premises may actually open – food, fit-out, signage and public health.
Security Industry Regulatory Agency approvals – CCTV compliance for ordinary premises, and licensing where security is the business.
Registering a mark with the Ministry of Economy – the part that gives you something to enforce.
Legalising documents so a UAE authority will accept them, or so a foreign authority will accept a UAE one.
How we work
Both are normal. Which one suits you depends on how often your file moves.
| Per transaction | Retainer | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | One-off needs – a single visa, one attestation, an amendment | Companies with staff turnover, several licences, or recurring renewals |
| Renewal tracking | On request | Included – we hold your dates and act before they expire |
| Turnaround | Scheduled when instructed | Prioritised |
| Reporting | Per job | A standing view of every expiry across the company |
Questions
For most transactions, no. Biometrics for Emirates ID and the medical examination are the usual exceptions, and we schedule them so a single trip covers both.
We refile. Rejections are usually a formatting or sequencing problem rather than a substantive one, and catching them is the reason to use someone who does this weekly.
Yes, and it is common. We start with an audit of what is currently valid and what is close to expiry, so nothing lapses during the handover.
The calendar
A UAE company runs on renewal dates that fall on different cycles. This is what we track for clients on retainer.
| What expires | Consequence of missing it |
|---|---|
| Trade licence | Fines that accrue, and other government transactions blocked while it is expired |
| Ejari tenancy registration | Blocks the licence renewal itself, so it has to be done first |
| Establishment card | Blocks new visa applications and renewals |
| Each residency visa | A grace period, then daily overstay fines against the individual |
| Labour contracts | Employment status becomes irregular and penalties can follow |
| Corporate tax and VAT filings | Separate deadlines from the licence, with their own penalties |
Working with government
Not access. Repetition.
There is a persistent myth in this market that PRO firms are selling relationships at government counters. They are not, and anyone implying otherwise is telling you something you should not want to hear.
What actually shortens a transaction is knowing the current requirement before you arrive: which form, in which order, with which supporting document, on which channel. Those requirements change. A firm filing weekly notices within days; a firm filing occasionally discovers it at the counter.
Taking over an existing file
Most companies come to us with an existing setup and something already close to expiry.
Audit
We list every licence, card, visa and contract, with its expiry date. Most clients have not seen this in one place before.
Triage
Anything expired or within weeks is dealt with first, before anything else is touched.
Transfer
Authorisations move across so we can file on the company’s behalf.
Calendar
Every date goes into the tracked calendar, and we act on them without being chased.
What a retainer covers
Not a call-off arrangement you have to remember to use.
The point of a retainer is that the work happens without you initiating it. We hold the dates, we act before they arrive, and you hear from us when there is something to decide rather than when something has gone wrong.
What it does not cover is anything with a government fee attached – those are the authority’s charges and we pass them through as charged, itemised separately from our own. How we quote.
When something is rejected
Rejections happen to everyone filing at volume. What matters is what happens next.
Diagnose before refiling
A rejection has a reason, and refiling the same file unchanged wastes the fee and the day. We establish what was actually wrong.
Fix at source
If a document is the problem, it is corrected or reissued rather than resubmitted in hope.
Refile promptly
Once corrected, it goes back in. Most rejections cost days, not weeks, when they are handled this way.
Tell you plainly
You hear what happened and why, including when the cause was ours. We would rather say that than describe a delay in the passive voice.
If you have your own admin team
The best arrangements we run are split, not handed over.
Companies with an in-house HR or office manager often assume PRO support means giving the whole function away. It rarely works out that way, and it should not. Your team knows your people; we know the counters.
| Your team | Royal Vision |
|---|---|
| Holds the employment relationship and the offer | Files the labour and immigration transactions |
| Collects documents from the employee | Checks them against the current requirement before submission |
| Decides headcount and timing | Confirms quota and tells you what the premises will support |
| Owns payroll and end-of-service calculations | Files the cancellations so nothing is left open |
| Keeps the personnel file | Keeps the expiry register and acts on it |
What we ask for is one point of contact on your side and visibility of hiring plans early. Nearly every avoidable emergency in this work is something someone knew about a month before we did.
Talk to a consultant
A short WhatsApp conversation is usually enough to scope a file. No forms, no call centre — you reach a consultant who handles the work.
